Elenee is a Greek name that is symbolizing a true women’s beauty. Our brand emphasizes the femininity, while a woman that is wearing our swimwear is not afraid to be in the center of the attention. Elenee garments are made of high quality fabrics and accessories.
One of the main inspirations for us is the Greek legend of Elene of Troy. Elene was said to have been the most beautiful woman in the world or a woman that had “a beauty like that of a goddess” as Homer has said. Power of this beauty would leave anyone speechless and could cause a major havoc. Her beauty inspired artists of all time to represent her, frequently as the personification of ideal beauty.
This legend and overall admiration for Greek mythology and ancient arts drove us to creation of our own clothing brand.
We wanted to create clothing that would make the wearer feel special, by incorporating unique designs and beautiful bright colours. This season our swimwear line has 4 main collections – Goddess, Amazon, Second Skin and Elements collection. Every collection has a different concept. Goddess collection has very feminine designs, while Amazon collection is more bright and edgy. Second skin features minimal designs that are perfectly accentuating body curves and they feel like indeed second skin.
However the creation of Elements collection was inspired by Ancient philosophers as Empedocles, Socrates and Aristotle, who believed that the whole world is composed of 4 fundamental elements: earth, water, air and fire. They thought that every visible object was created in the result of the combination of these matters in different proportions. Philosophers were always pondering on nature laws as well as they tried to understand the universe by making observations and questioning everything. The truth is that regardless of what we do, we solely depend on these 4 elements. This collection reveals a special relationship and balance between these elements and a human.
Our goal is to create unique designs that enable the wearer to feel great and inspired!
